Planet 100

Planet-100 is a boiler and feed water treatment which provides an effective and easily applied program for protection of all low/medium pressure exhaust gas economizers and auxiliary boilers using distilled water makeup. The major advantage of Planet-100 treatment is complete protection in one product

Good quality distilled makeup water is recommended for use with Planet-100 treatment. The recommended initial dosage of Planet-100 treatment is 4 to 5 Liters per ton of water in the boiler system. Once the system has been initially dosed and is in operation, the daily hydrate alkalinity test result determines the necessary dosage.

Testing for hydrazine in the boiler water determines supplemental HYDRAZINE corrosion inhibitor dosage. Supplemental HYDRAZINE corrosion inhibitor dosage is necessary only when the hydrazine level is not maintained by Planet-100 treatment dosage alone. Testing for neutralized conductivity in the boiler water determines the blowdown. Hydrazine

Hydrazine corrosion inhibitor is an all-volatile, liquid, catalyzed oxygen scavenger for use in low-, medium- and high-pressure steam generating systems. Hydrazine corrosion inhibitor controls ferrous and non-ferrous corrosion in feedwater, boilers, steam, and condensate lines with the use of hydrazine as the oxygen scavenger. In addition to scavenging oxygen, Hydrazine corrosion inhibitor passivates metal surfaces through the formation of protective oxide films thereby minimizing iron and copper deposits in the boiler
